Church Life

8th February 2024 by Bernice Hopper

Church Life

At Jubilee, we hold our community and culture in high regard, considering them essential parts of the ongoing development of both our church and the individuals within our community.

Explore our values further on the Jubilee website under “Vision and Values.”

In recent months, we’ve been talking about church life, emphasizing how God-given gifts and positive attitudes contribute to the creation of a robust and supportive church community. The concluding talk in this series prompted us to reflect on utilizing Bible stories and personal narratives as effective means of introducing people to Jesus.

Gifts

Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a baptism of power… have you got any power?

Prophecy -Speaking Your Native Language
What is prophecy and how do we use it in our everyday lives?

The Gift of Tongues
What is the gift of tongues and how do we use it?

Attitudes

Overcoming Temptations
What does Jesus teach us about overcoming temptation and self-reliance?

Generosity
God provides for our needs so we can be open-handed in generously sharing with others.

Good Relationships
How do we navigate unforgiveness and build a healthy church culture?

Beyond

Telling People About Jesus
How do we use stories to introduce people to Jesus?

Thank you to Rob, Tom, Jon and Mark for these important talks.
