The God of Miracles
Jubilee Church recently hosted a conference: The God of Miracles. We were delighted to receive Surprise Sithole and his team Don, Clint and Ryan. Here are some of the stories we have received of what happened to people at the conference.
James
Don prayed for me at the start of the conference that I would see breakthrough in my depression. As we worshipped throughout the rest of the weekend, I felt the Holy Spirit interceding for me. For years I’ve not been able to sleep without podcasts or videos on in the background and to be honest this wasn’t even on my radar as something that would change. However, since that weekend I have slept peacefully without the need for distractions.
Alina
The first session Surprise talked about feeling threatened and afraid. When he finished preaching, he started praying, I felt something had broken over me, my fear of driving it’s broken! All day was an encouraging day for me, I had so many attacks before the conference. God is great!
A lady at the conference said, ‘I realised within moments of being in the worship that I have been dead for years but now I have come alive!’
On Saturday evening a lady with muscular dystrophy was touched. She was experiencing pain & stiffness across her neck & shoulders. As she was prayed for, she said that she had improved movement which she hasn’t been aware of for a long time since suffering with this condition & the pain was not as intense.
Martin
He and two sons have been ill with mysterious stomach complaint for 18 months or so since visit to Italy on holiday. Doctors and consultants have been unable to diagnose problem or treat it. The boys have missed lots of school time. Martin himself has already been improving but since the Sunday morning the boys have been much improved and have missed no school in the last 2 weeks – the first time since last summer!
An older lady, Irene, was watching on-line but left watching the livestream for a few moments to go upstairs and suddenly realised she had no pain in her hips! She ran up and down the stairs – still no pain. Since that day she has been walking distances she has not done for 20 years!
Sue
I have been type two diabetic for 18 years. They tell you it’s a progressive illness, you start on tablets, then more tablets and then insulin and this is how it was beginning to look for me… a downward spiral.
This is the threat. Surprise talked about Hezekiah’s threat from Sennacherib and say spread your threat out before the Lord. He also mentioned diabetes more than once. So, I went out for prayer.
After being prayed for I have been able to get things back under control and with diet etc and that week I saw the high blood sugars slowly improve and already for the last two weeks my results are 100% normal!!
Other symptoms of my diabetes have shown improvement too. I can now move my thumbs again. There is still a bit of a journey to do on this but I feel the healing was activated and there have been a definite and progressive improvement!
Jubilee Kids
Becky reported that the children caught something of the move of God on the Sunday morning. In one of our groups – ‘Ignite’, we asked God for words of knowledge and lots of children had accurate words that others responded to. The kids prayed for each other and we saw a back and neck healed, and also ankles. Three of them responded to a word about feeling worried about school on Monday so we could pray and encourage them!

Whilst lying on the floor in the presence of God felt waves of healing and freedom rushing through me. Lots of emotional pain was removed – with every beat of the drum the power of God impacted me. I feel quite different!
Freedom & Joy
Other reports have mentioned a new level of anointing and freedom, that God feels closer and bigger somehow! We have been moved to a bigger place in the Spirit. One couple who were away during the conference weekend, commented that there was a difference the following weekend at Jubilee. There was a noticeable increase of joy.
