Excitement in the waiting
There’s only a few days left until the big day. The one we have been excited about for weeks.
In his blog post Good news! Great joy! For all! Simon reminded us of the reason for the season. He encouraged us to allow ourselves ‘ to enjoy the preparations, the build-up, the excitement, and the anticipation.’
But also to remember the good news of Jesus.
Becky reminded us in The Wide-Eyed Wonder of Christmas that ‘the story of Christmas is the story of God’s pursuit of us. The story of the God of heaven meeting us right in the middle of the chaos, the brokenness, the mess.’
In these last few days of rushing to be ready for ‘the big day’ take some time to listen to what Chris had to say at our Christmas Service.
