Introducing Coffee Chats

8th December 2016 by Bernice Hopper

Introducing Coffee Chats

The birth of Jesus in the stable has almost become a forgotten story as our society concentrates more on the commercial side of Christmas rather than the ‘reason for the season’.

As we move into Winter with the days getting darker and colder, meeting up with friends may often be in a coffee shop or at home with a hot drink. This may be an apt time to ask friends about why we celebrate Christmas.

But launching into a full scale gospel message can put people off which is where Coffee Chats comes in.

What is Coffee Chats?

Coffee Chats is a series of short animated films. Each film is a standalone conversation piece that can be used individually or as a series to encourage people to talk about their beliefs. The informal style means that the films can be used in a variety of settings, from the coffee shop or workplace to the church or classroom. It can be emailed to a friend, set up as an online discussion or employed as a means of stimulating a face-to-face chat.

Go to the Coffee Chats website to find out more.

If you use one of the Coffee Chat videos with a friend, please email us to tell us how you got on.
