Foundations part 1

3rd November 2022 by Bernice Hopper

Foundations: Identity

Who we are in Christ is a cornerstone teaching at Jubilee. We are sons and daughters, adopted into the Kingdom, Ambassadors, born again (recreated), co-heirs with Jesus.

Join us in our look at our identity through a study of Ephesians. What does the Bible say about who we are?

By clicking on each subtitle you will be taken to the recorded talk on the Jubilee website.

Identity in Christ

Knowing who you are in Christ is foundational to the new person God has made you to be… and who else needs to hear your story?
Ephesians 1:3

Chosen to be Holy & Blameless

In Christ we are chosen to be holy and blameless – what does it mean for our new identity?

Ephesians 1:4

Adopted into God’s Family

We’re adopted into God’s family. Why?
Ephesians 1:5

Redeemed & Forgiven

The ransom price has been paid so we are now redeemed and forgiven.
Ephesians 1:3-8

Sealed & Secured

Sealed and secured by the Holy Spirit – don’t try to do his job!
Ephesians 1:11-14

Who you say I am
