Following the government’s recent advice on social distancing on Monday evening we have taken the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend all Jubilee meetings and groups across the church. We have not taken this decision lightly but in order continue to follow the government’s guidance and directives.
We will keep things under review whilst they develop but for now this is the plan:
We are postponing our Sunday gatherings but watch this space for more information. For church members we are conducting our services over live stream. If you would like to temporarily join us in this then please contact the church office for details at email@example.com
The decision for the time being is to keep the Children’s Storehouse running for as long as possible as it is seen as an ‘essential contact’ serving some of the most vulnerable in society. This decision will be kept under review in the coming weeks.
Toddlers will no longer be meeting as it is not seen as ‘essential contact’. If you are a regular attender at Toddlers there is notice on the Facebook group.
We’d encourage you to be following the UK government’s advice informing us all to:
- Wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and when possible following with an antibacterial hand rub. Catch all coughs and sneezes in tissues and then throw away and wash hands and where possible, try not to touch your face
- Anyone suffering from flu-like symptoms (a temperature of over 37.8C or a cough) should self-isolate for 7 days if living alone or 14 days for a family/shared house. If symptoms become extreme, call NHS 111 or visit nhs.uk/coronavirus.
